Emily is passionate about supporting teachers in their instruction of early literacy. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University in 2022 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in special education at the University of Iowa. Previously, Emily worked as a lead fifth grade teacher in the Bronx, and she is excited to use her prior experience to further aid in strengthening students’ early literacy skills. In her free time, Emily likes to take her dog for long walks, runs, and hikes.
