Hyejeong Yoon

Biography
Hyejeong is looking forward to developing instruction and intervention for students who have reading difficulties. As a graduate assistant at the IRRC, she assists with various research projects related to literacy and education. She is currently a doctoral student in the special education program at the University of Iowa. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Gwangju National University of Education and a master’s degree in educational technology from Chonnam National University. Prior to working at the IRRC, Hyejeong was a public elementary school teacher in South Korea for ten years. In her free time, Hyejeong enjoys exercising and spending time with her five-month-old puppy.
