Allison helps other educators learn about best practices for teaching reading through her assistance in organizing the Iowa Science of Reading Summit. Outside of her work at the IRRC, Allison is a third-grade teacher in Clear Creek Amana School District. She earned a bachelor’s in elementary education from the University of Iowa. In her free time, you can find her reading, cooking, or watching movies.
