As a graduate assistant at the Iowa Reading Research Center, Casey Coghlan will be working on Project Skyword—a project that aims to examine the effectiveness of a personalized reading intervention program. He will be responsible for conducting virtual assessments with students and helping create training materials for these assessments. Previously, Casey worked as a behavior technician at ChildServe, where he helped deliver ABA therapy to clients. Casey has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Iowa State University and an education specialist degree in school psychology from the University of Iowa. He is currently pursuing a PhD in school psychology. Outside of the IRRC, you can find Casey out on the golf course or reading either a science fiction or fantasy book.
