Eleni Chatzoglou, MSc, MEd, PhD
Eleni Chatzoglou is a postdoctoral research scholar at the Iowa Reading Research Center. In this role, she looks forward to bridging research and practice in ways that meaningfully impact students and educators. She has professional experience as an elementary school and special education teacher and worked as a graduate research assistant at the Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk during her doctoral studies. There, she supported several IES-funded research projects focused on literacy interventions for students with reading difficulties, contributing to intervention development, tutor training, implementation fidelity, and dissemination of research findings. She earned an MSc in applied psychology of children and adolescents from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and an MEd in educational psychology and a PhD in special education from the University of Texas at Austin. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, swimming, and any other activities that involve spending time by the water.
