Biography

As a graduate assistant at the Iowa Reading Research Center, Eunhae looks forward to contributing to work that advances socially and culturally responsive literacy practices, especially for students from multilingual and multicultural backgrounds. Eunhae is currently a dual MA and PhD student in special education with an applied behavior analysis emphasis. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature and a master’s degree in English linguistics from Chung-Ang University and her Ph.D. in applied linguistics from Pennsylvania State University. Prior to working at the IRRC, Eunhae worked as a registered behavior technician, providing applied behavior analysis therapy to learners with autism spectrum disorder and other behavioral challenges. In her free time, she enjoys crafting and drawing on her iPad.
