Holly Hunter is a third-grade teacher at Grinnell-Newburg Elementary School who is passionate about helping students develop strong literacy skills and a lifelong love of learning. She earned a bachelor's degree in education with a literacy minor from the University of Northern Iowa.

As an active leader within the Grinnell-Newburg Community School District, Holly serves on several district committees, including Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Building Leadership Team (BLT), PLC lead, Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and Curriculum Leadership. She also serves as a mentor teacher, supporting and guiding colleagues as they grow in their profession.

Outside of the classroom, Holly is the proud parent of two children. Her commitment to education, collaboration, and student success drives her desire to continue to make a positive impact on both her school community and the district as a whole.
