Biography

Nina Lorimor-Easley is thrilled to contribute work centered on research-based reading and literacy instruction and assessment that has the potential to change the face of literacy education in Iowa. Previously, Nina co-founded a dyslexia-focused educational center in West Des Moines, and is owner of Beans & Beignets café in Earlham, Iowa. She earned her master’s degrees in curriculum development from Southern New Hampshire University and educational psychology from Kaplan University. Nina enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with her three children and grandson, and serving on the board of Decoding Dyslexia Iowa.
