Biography
Papae Wymore is a lecturer of education at Central College in Pella, Iowa where she teaches a range of courses, including literacy-focused classes. She earned a bachelor's degree from Buena Vista University and a master's degree in elementary education from Viterbo University, along with endorsements in K8 Reading, 512 Reading and a 58 Middle School Generalist. Additionally, she holds an administrator license, authorizing her to serve in PK12 Principal and PK12 Special Education Supervisor roles.  
With over twenty years in education, Wymore has served in various roles, including preparing pre-service teachers, teaching kindergarten, and working as a middle school at-risk coordinator and exploratory teacher. 
Her passion for literacy extends beyond the classroom. Wymore is a founding member and current president of the pending Reading League Iowa chapter. She serves on the Literacy Leadership Team for the Iowa Association of Colleges for Teacher Education and is a member of the Iowa Department of Education Statewide Literacy Leadership Team.  
Committed to advancing evidence-aligned instruction, Wymore strives to raise awareness and understanding of effective literacy practices across Iowa and beyond.
