Explicit instruction is a cornerstone of the science of reading. It is imperative that educators have support in not only understanding what the steps of explicit instruction are, but also understanding how to deliver them across different literacy content. In this webinar, Drs. Keller Young and Seth King will present ways of monitoring explicit instruction practices (i.e., fidelity of implementation) and determining targeted areas of support for teachers.

In this webinar, Dr. Keller Young will present results of a recent systematic review of cursive handwriting studies and evidence-based techniques to teach cursive. In addition, we preview CLIFTER, a free, evidence-based application educators and caregivers can use to teach cursive handwriting.
