As told by the University of Iowa College of Education in this news article, the Iowa Reading Research Center connects educators with the latest in evidence-based reading instruction through its Iowa Science of Reading Summit and podcast. 

The center hosted the first-ever Iowa Science of Reading Summit this past summer for more than 300 educators from across the Midwest. Teachers, school administrators, and higher-education instructors came together to collaborate with colleagues and learn from leaders in literacy research. In addition, the IRRC furthers the conversation on the science of reading through A Novel Idea: The History of the Science of Reading, an 8-episode documentary-style podcast that was launched earlier this year, reaching listeners from across the globe.
